Class 5, Step 4 Texture Maps

This image shows the difference between wrapped texture map images (1) and flat/shaded/colored texture map images (2). Wrapped texture map 3D images allow for each specified part of the whole 3D object to be filled with an individual bitmap texture, there using multiple bitmap images. Flat/shaded/colored texture map 3D objects are one singular 3D element with one bitmap fill image that has been shaded (much like a painting) to add detail to the 3D object.
